DPI Pinnacle Greenstick Compound is a dental material used for border molding. Border molding is the process of adapting a border of a dental impression material to the contours of the oral mucosa (soft tissues in the mouth) in order to produce an accurate impression of the patient’s gums and teeth.
Pinnacle Greenstick Compound is a thermoplastic compound that softens when heated and becomes pliable, allowing the dentist to shape it easily to the contours of the patient’s gums. It is used to create a precise impression of the oral tissues for the fabrication of dental prostheses such as dentures.
